It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Hagar on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Hayward and the late Shirley Blanchard. Beloved husband of the late Lois (née Moore) Blanchard and fiancé of Jeannette Mousseau. Loving father of Lisa (Don Gervais), Kim Levesque (Dorian) and stepfather to Bruce Rienguette (Debye). Predeceased by his son Jeff (Sue). Dear brother of Wayne (Daisy), Perry (Celestine), Robin (Rodger), Rhoda, Phyllis and Faye. Predeceased by his sister Ramona. Cherished grandfather of Nelson, Steven, Laura, Kalvin and great-grandfather of Dorian and Temperance. He will be lovingly remembered by Jeannette Mousseau’s daughter Amy (James) as well as by many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Maxwell enjoyed travelling, hunting, camping, the great outdoors but especially snowmobiling. He loved life and enjoyed a good laugh.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
