In loving memory of Marie, who passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6th, 2022, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Raymond St-Jacques. Daughter of the late Francis and Lorenza Castonguay. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her children Jean-Guy St-Jacques, predeceased, (Joanne), Carole Parsons (Mike), André St-Jacques (Julie) and Jean-Marc St-Jacques (Carole). Beloved grandmother to Angèle Ramsden (Eric), Michelle Parsons, Olivia Parsons, Alex Martel, Daniel St-Jacques (Pascale), Stéphanie St-Jacques (Kevin), Daniel Guindon, Gabrielle St-Jacques, Danika St-Jacques (Matt) as well as her two great-grandchildren Xavier and Zoë-Rose Ramsden. Beloved sister to Alma Frappier, Gerry Castonguay and Hélène Venne. Predeceased by her siblings Philias, Mandy, Léo, Émile, Stéphane, William, Roger, Alexina and Simone. Marie will be dearly missed by her close friend and companion, Roger Lalonde, whom she shared many special moments with. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were loved very much.
Marie was a devoted wife, mother, and accomplished hair stylist. Forever remembered for her “joie de vivre”, overwhelming generosity; her love for music, singing a tune or two, never shying away from a dance floor, and her ability to bring people together. Her sense of style and class, from a casual get-together to a celebration, never went unnoticed. She also shined in the kitchen whether cooking or baking her tried and true recipes for all to enjoy. Marie had a deep love of family and unwavering faith that was an essential part of her daily life. Even in her final days, she found comfort and solace knowing she would be reunited with her loved ones. She will be sadly missed by all.

Family and friends will be received at the Cooperative Funeral home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury ON, on Friday, June 10th, 2022. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at 11am at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Thérèse, ON
