The family announces with sorrow, his passing in Sudbury, Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 97 years. Son of the late Clément and of the late Perpétue Boyer (née Guenette). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Marcellin, Reverend Sister Agathe (f.d.l.s.), Etienne, Rhéal, Alain, Paul, Prima, Antonio, Laurent and Reverend Sister Rollande (f.d.l.s.). He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marc was in the priesthood for 25 years. He then became a French language Teacher at Carrefour Francophone in Sudbury. He had a wonderful sense of humour. Marc was an avid sports fan. He also had a passion for playing card game 31. He lived at Solidarity Lodge for 30 years and made many good friends. He will be truly missed by his family and friends!!! TOUDALOU mon oncle!!! In keeping with Marc’s wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
