It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Hanmer with his wife by his side on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the age of 62 years. Son of the late Adélard Filion and Rita Filion Cecchini (Boileau) and Frank Cecchini. Beloved husband of Carole Filion (Carrière). Loving father of Julie Filion (Brandon Avann) and Éric Filion. Cherished Opa to Mavedyn and Landyn. Dear brother of Yvon Filion (Diane). Predeceased by his sister Joanne Filion. He will be sadly missed by his niece, nephew, extended family and a boat load of friends. He will be greatly missed by the Montreal Canadiens Club. “C’EST LE BUT!” In keeping with Luc’s wishes there will be no visitation or service but rather a celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
