It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Friday, October 16th, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Vachon. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Gertrude (née Larabie) Daoust. Loving mother of Carmen Samson (Gerard), Diane Brabant (Roger), Roger (late Danielle), Claire Vincent (Bert), Lorraine Brabant (Claude), Raymond (Suzanne), Ronald (Diane), Robert (Cynthia) and Rejean (Sandy). Predeceased by her daughter Monique. Dear sister of Roseanna (Pierre), Lucia (late Lauriant), Alcide (late Elmire), André (Louise), Alice (late Ronald), Noëlla (Richard) Lucien (Dolores) and Richard (Beverly). Predeceased by her siblings Laurier (Lozia) and Suzanne Berthiaume (late Aimé). Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and predeceased by 1 grandchild. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She enjoyed many years of camping and fishing. She also loved playing cards, dancing, reading and listening to music. Mom devoted her life to her family and was most happy when surrounded by them. Everyone was special to her and will remember her favorite saying: “Love you!” She will always be remembered for her strength, kindness and unconditional love. The family would like to thank the staff (6th floor) at HSN for their compassion and kindness to her and the family. As per Louise’s request a private family service will be held.
