Obituary for Lorraine Lavoie

Lorraine Lavoie
It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Lorraine Lavoie on Monday, April 20th, 2023 at the age of 52 years at her residence.

Daughter to the late Earl and Rose Lavoie (Deguire) both predeceased. Loving sister to Marc Lavoie. Devoted mother of Malcolm Lavoie, Meagan Lavoie, Miranda Lavoie (Jesse Commando). Cherished by Stacy Panny, her nephew Eric Gifford and niece Talia Vaillancourt (Goddaughter). Will be missed by many friends and family.

Lorraine was a devoted nurse for the majority of her life as a RPN at Pioneer Manor and as a PSW at Red Oak Villa in her final years. She was loved and will be missed by many co-workers and residents.

Lorraine was a loving and loyal daughter to her parents and was always there by their side throughout the journey of their life and are now reunited. Lorraine was a proud and loving mother to her three children (triplets), and devoted her life taking care of them whom she saw as the light of her life. She was a loving sister who looked after her brother throughout the years and shared many memories together. Lorraine was a woman who loved spending her time with family, sharing laughs and memories throughout her home. She loved watching her tv shows while eating buttered popcorn with vinegar, going camping, and taking nature walks, listening to the birds singning.

Lorraine had an embrace that felt warm and welcoming, she had a beautiful smile that was kind and generous, light brown eyes that reflected her love and devotion, and a voice, more so her laugh that showed her motherly love spreading happiness around her. She will be greatly missed. Thank you to all the family, friends and to the staff of Cooperative Funeral Home on helping us on our final journey together and saying our final goodbyes. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Saturday May 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel.
