It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Léodat Lavallée and late Gracia (née Marier). Predeceased by her husband Rolland Brunet. Loving mother of Daniel Brunet (Janis), Denis Brunet (Sharon), Suzanne Brunet, Diane Brunet (late Richard Latourelle), Michel Brunet (Ginette) and Robert Brunet (Renée). Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Mélanie, Jamie, Michelle, Natalie, Philippe, Vincent, Brody, Bryce and Bradley. Proud great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Rita Legault, René Lavallée, Rhéal Lavallée, Marcel Rainville and Michel Lavallée. Predeceased by her sister Jeanne Lavallée and by her brother Germain Lavallée. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lorraine will be remembered for her kindness and her devotion to her family. She will be sadly missed and always remembered. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
