It is with immense grief and sadness that the family announces Lloyd’s sudden passing on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the age of 70. Born in Bellburns, Newfoundland, Lloyd is predeceased by his loving wife of 44 years, Ruby Biggin (Gavin), and his parents Eli Biggin, Aurela Biggin-Primrose, and Robert Primrose. As a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Lloyd will be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to know him. Lloyd will be especially missed by his caring and affectionate partner, Elsie Payne. Loving father of Amanda Maltais (Paul), Shane Biggin (Donna) and Susan Cross (John). Cherished grandfather of Jared, Brady, Brandon (Taijaa), Alex, Benjamin, Jordan, Eric, Devon, Sheldon, and great-grandfather of Cayson and Brailyn. Treasured brother of Eugene (Brenda), Craig (Muriel), Jeff (Merina), Walter (Venece), Elizabeth (Shane), Susan (Dexter), Joanne (Dallas), and Penny (Eric). Sadly missed by his special friends Holly, Byron, Christopher and Monique House. In lieu of an immediate service, friends and family will gather in Newfoundland next summer to celebrate Lloyd’s long and fulfilling life.
