It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the age of 82. Son of the late Rocco LaSorsa and Amalia (Franchi) LaSorsa. Beloved husband of Helen (Larocque) LaSorsa. Loving father of Dean LaSorsa (Joëlle) and Cassandra LaSorsa (André Rancourt). Cherished grandfather of Mathieu, Denica, Addison, Ashley, Breeana, Shyanne, Noah and Deena. Proud great-grandfather of Hailey and Evelynn. Predeceased by his sister Guiliana Sbrega (late Otello). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Leo aka Nonno, was a very proud family man. He’s known for his gentle and loving heart. Always trustworthy, dedicated and kind… with just the right amount of mischief. Leo built his business Guarantee Permanent Realty from the ground up. A well-respected member of the Sudbury Real Estate Board for over 5 decades. He was well known in his industry and among all his peers. You are terribly missed. Rest peacefully in God’s embrace. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St-Andrew the Apostle Church, Sudbury.
