It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Léandre Poirier at Health Sciences North on Saturday May 30, 2020 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife Jeanne (Lafond). Loving father and step-father to Catherine (André) Seguin, Lucie (Francois) Savoie, Clifford (Bonnie) Poirier, Angela (André) Bélanger and step-children Sue (Ron) Jodouin, Michel (Sandra) Lafond, Daniel (Linda) Lafond, Marc (Bonnie) Lafond, Denis Lafond deceased, and Gilles (Colleen) Lafond. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors for their wonderful care during this difficult time. Also a heartfelt thank you to CCAC, Home Instead and CBI for their continued support. There will be no service or visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home Chelmsford.
