It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ray at the age of 89 years in Chelmsford, Ontario on Thursday, December 17th, 2020. Ray was the oldest son of nine children of the late Albert and Yvonne (née Sasseville) Côté. Dearly loved by his late wife Melva (née Boden) Côté of 59 years. Adored father of Susanne (Pat), Paul (Ingrid), Catherine (Daniel), Greg (Cindy), William (Karen) and Cindy Lou (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Wyatt, Nancy, Jason, Jeff, Shannon, David, Christina, Allison, Deanna, Zack, Madison, Shane and Megan. Admired great-grandfather of 14 great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Henry Côté (Jean), Delores Andrews (Brent, predeceased) and Ronald Côté (Doris). Predeceased by his siblings Pauline, Roger, Adrien, Leonard and Albert. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ray loved his family and the outdoors, the combination of the two made him especially happy. As per Ray’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
