It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the age of 52 years. Cherished daughter of Florence Tremblay (née Arbour) and late Ronald Tremblay. Beloved wife of Scott Mitchell. Loving mother of Patrick (Megan) and Nicholas. Precious grandmother of Merrick. Dear sister of Sylvie (Ben), Mona Lapointe (Gaëtan), Line Landry (Maurice), Julie Chartrand (Kevin) and Lucie Palka (Chris). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joanne was loved by so many. She has suffered greatly these last few years, but she was a great warrior, always bouncing back and was admired for her strength and positive outlook. She found comfort in her beloved dogs Jack and Junior, crocheting, jewelry making, diamond painting, and camping in her trailer. She will be remembered for her great heart and has now gained her wings as she is now promoted to the ranks of angels. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
