It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a special lady we were honored to call MOM on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. Jeannine Bertrand (née Villeneuve) was 92 years young and was predeceased by the love of her life Murray in December 2021. We mourn but also celebrate an incredible woman who knew no limit for love and kindness, always helped in every way she could, loved her family and friends unconditionally. Jeannine was a woman of many talents, she was an exceptional seamstress, a talented painter, she sewed dolls, a quilter and her hands were rarely still. And wow could she dance! Along with her woodworking husband our homes are filled with many amazing handmade treasures. She will be dearly missed forever in our hearts. Daughter of the late Ardias “Barney” and late Marianne (née Turpin) Villeneuve. She will be sadly missed by her children Susan (Jack Sonnier), Debbie (Guy Brunet), Lise (Roger Comtois), Linda (Denis Prévost) and her two sons Robert and Paul. She was a proud grandmother to Tiffany, Jamie, Jason, Robin, Joey, Carrie-Lynne, Chantal, Maegan, Maeva, Sophie and Emilie, and great-grandmother to 18 wonders. Dear sister of Gérald (late Lilianne) (friend Germaine), Roger (late Joan) (friend Aurore), Lucille (Gérald Gervais) and Rachelle (Don Croteau). Predeceased by her siblings Larry, Marcelle (late Vital Gauthier), Dolorese (late Maurice Bradley), Claire (late Paul Sauvé). Predeceased by her in-laws Carmen (Don Smith) and Doris (Ray Bradley). She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Pauline (Claude Marchand) and by many nieces and nephews. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
