In loving memory of Jacques Léonard (Jake) who passed away in Sudbury on April 26, 2020 at Health Science North. Jake was predeceased by his parents, Marcel and Gracia Léonard. He is survived by his wife Dinah (née Bertin), his sons Shawn Bertin (Louise), and Derek, as well as his granddaughter Kailey. Dear brother to Lola (Winga), Daniel (Nathalie), and Tom (Mary Pat). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Mathew, Michael, Krystina, Nicholas, Stefan and Marie-France, as well as great nieces and nephews. Jake will be remembered as a family man. He really enjoyed having family BBQs and spending time with his pets (Sabre, Missy and Milo). The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at HSN Hospital, as well as the staff at CCAC for their devoted care. To honour Jakes’ wishes, there will be no funeral or service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sudbury Diabetes Association or the Sudbury Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
