Obituary for Jacques Brouillard

Jacques Brouillard
God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart…

The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury, on Wednesday April 13th at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of late Carmen (Blais) Brouillard of Chelmsford. Cherished father of Carole Brouillard Landry (Jett Landry) and of his clone, André / Pompon (Maggie Bitetto). Loving grandfather to Justin (Renée), Alex and Patrick from Chelmsford and to his cherished granddaughters Janelle and Melissa of Sudbury and Maggie’s girls Lauren and Olivia. Dear brother to Simone Gaudet (late Désiré), Lucille Vaillancourt (late Réjean), Laurette Gaudet (late Gérard), Jeanne Delorme (Raymond) and Yvette Brouillard (Yvon). He is predeceased by his parents André Brouillard and Angéline Désormeaux, and his siblings Thérèse Manseau (late Armand), Georges (Suzanne), Annette Ménard (late Normand), and Lise Brouillard (Léon). He will also be remembered by Marlene, Janelle and Melissa’s mother and his nephews, nieces, family, and friends. We all recognize the values he has modelled for us: love, work ethics and helpfulness. Jacques worked for the Region for many years as a snow plow operator. All who knew him will remember his sense of humour, and the pleasure he had helping others. He was an exceptional husband, father and grandfather making sure everyone was happy. We will always treasure his love of life and his kindness. He loved listening to his « 08 Track », washing his truck with his rags and walking Miley. The family would like to express their gratitude to the health care workers that visited him at home, Dr. Guy Mongeon, the nurses, Doris, and the personal support workers, Michelle. A heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Hospice for the excellent care. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 23 rd, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St-Joseph Parish in Chelmsford. The family will welcome relatives and friends starting at 10:00 AM. Afterwards, you are invited for a reception in the church basement. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
