DICAIRE, Hélène (née Laplante)
The family announces with great sorrow her sudden passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Alcide Dicaire. Daughter of the late Napoléon and of the late Irène (née Séguin) Laplante. Loving mother of Suzanne Paquin (Richard) of Val Caron, Diane Dicaire (Victor Taillefer), Joanne Senchuk (Walter) and Armand Dicaire all of Sudbury. Dear sister of Bibianne Leduc (Yvon), Réjeanne Carrière (late Mike Boutet), Léona Lachance (late Robert) and Yvon Laplante (Kathy). Predeceased by her siblings Lise Laplante (late Armand Berthiaume), Léo (late Phyllis) and Alice Laplante. Cherished grandmother of Stéphane Paquin (Monique), Patrick Paquin (Brigitte Masse), Cassandra Senchuk and great-grandmother of Noah, Rosalie and Alexa. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and relatives. Hélène was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved bowling, enjoyed the great outdoors, but was happiest when surrounded by her family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. Due to the pandemic, masks must be worn and social distancing should be respected. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Anne-des-Pins, Sudbury. Cremation to follow.
