My Sister

I give thanks for the life of a beautiful, graceful woman I am so proud to call my big sister. I was young when our Mom passed. My big sister stepped in and filled the void. She gave me stability, guidance, support and oh so much love. We shared a love of cooking, baking (and eating), including homemade bread. As Louise said, she was the keeper of family memories. I always turned to her to help me navigate what often felt like the blur of a childhood that had been impacted by the tragic early passing of our Mom and Dad. For a number of years we had started a tradition of getting together monthly for a lunch of the the 3 sisters. I loved that! We sure had our share of giggles. Memories may fade over time but my sister is not a memory. She is a part of me. She lifted me up all my life. I hope she now feels at peace just like she always made me feel. Love you, See you on the other side Diane Thibeault
