It is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on April 10, 2023 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife and best friend of 60 years, Roger Belair. Daughter of the late Elzear and late Adelia (née Allard) Dumais. Devoted mother of Robert (Bobbio) Belair (Brenda Jack and very special daughter-in-law Donna Labelle) and Judy Belair-Vallaris (George Vallaris). Dear sister of Jean-Gérard Dumais (Shirley) from Montreal. Predeceased by all her other siblings. Cherished grandmother of Mackenzie, Emma, Didier, George, Christian, Jocelyn, Nung, Kallie-Anne and Emma-Rose. Great-grandmother of Charleigh, Shayleigh, Charles, Oliver, Charly, Liam. Equally missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special thank you to Angele. As per her wishes, there will be no traditional service. Germaine was known as an entertainer, great cook, and life of the party. Germaine requested a Catholic service at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf church at 11:30 a.m., Saturday April 15, 2023 and a celebration of life following mass at the FROOD HOTEL from 1-5 p.m. In her honor, please bring your favorite wine glass so you can toast her in her favorite way!
