The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, May 22, 2023, at the age of 72 years. Daughter of the late Léon Vandal and Raymonde Gagné. Loving mother of Donald Byham (Nathalie) and Ken Byham. Cherished grandmother of Shealan Byham, Kimberly Byham and Ashley Varey. Survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Jasmin, Denis (Suzanne), Steve (Michelle) and Dave (Sandra). Lovingly remembered by her nieces Stephanie and Janique Vandal, and by her nephews Jesse, James and Jason Vandal. A teacher and genealogist, she has taught for the CSCNO in Chapleau, as well as for the CSPGNO in Manitouwadge and Markstay. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. The family will receive relatives and friends at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, after 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Donations by cheque or online to the Health Sciences North are appreciated.
