The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Nicholas and of the late Georgina (née LeBouthillier) Gionet. Beloved husband of the late Rita Yollande (née Legault) Gionet of Chelmsford. Loving father of Louise Connelly (Patrick) of Chapleau, Suzanne Fleming (Bob) of Kitchener, Richard Gionet of Schreiber and Diane Gionet of Sault Ste-Marie. Dear brother of Jacqueline Rioux (late Jacques) and Patricia Lajambe (late Bernard). Predeceased by his siblings Romuald Gionet (late Rita), Eutrope Gionet (late Aline), Adrienne Desbois (late Olida), Élianna Desbois (late Eugene), Roger Gionet (late Jeanine), Gérard Gionet (Eveline), Edward Gionet (Lily), and Leonard Gionet (Héline). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brendan, Melissa, Michael, Ryan, Jorie and his great-grandchildren Liam, Rayliegh, Michael, Brinley, Zoey, Michaela, Jake and Lily. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
