Emile Lavoie
In loving memory of Emile Lavoie, who passed peacefully on Friday, February 28th in his home at the age of 55 years old, surrounded by family after a short but courageous battle with Cancer. Loving son of Richard(predeceased) and Adele (Thibeault) Lavoie.

He is survived by his devoted and compassionate wife of 30 years Celine (Riopel) and his two caring daughters, Danika (Jasmin Rochette) and Alexie (Alex Lacroix).

Loving brother of Gerald (Bernadette), Guy (predeceased), and Andre (Rita). Cherished Brother-in-law to Sylvie Dale (Chris) and Anne Chandler (Bill). Special Son-in-law to Jean-Claude Riopel and Yolande (Gravelle).

Also survived by his nephews William, Darrell (Kristine), Christopher (Tasha), Alex (Kerrie), Nicholas and great-uncle to many.

He was a devoted family man and a proud employee for over 34 years at Belanger Ford Lincoln Centre. He was involved with a number of organizations, including being a member of the Chevaliers de Colomb, Dowling (Conseil 10801), past President of the Onaping Falls Minor Hockey Association and amazing coach of many teams throughout the years, especially when coaching his daughter.

He enjoyed his time at the family cottage on Ministic Lake over the summer along with playing baseball with the Onaping Falls Mixed Slo-Pitch League. In the winter, he always looked forward to his family vacations in Florida.

He was a long-time Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. He will always be remembered for living his life to the absolute fullest and his great sense of humour.

The family would like to extend their most profound gratitude to the staff at Bayshore Home Care, especially to Angie, Shannon and Doris along with the Northeast Cancer Centre. A very special thank you to Dr. Candice Walton and the Shared Care Team from Maison McCulloch Hospice.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St-Stephen the Martyr Church, Dowling.
