PILON, Edgar

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Edgar Cleo Pilon on September 6th, 2020 at the age of 86 surrounded by family. Edgar is survived by his loving and caring wife Jacqueline (née Larocque) of 64 years. Loving father of Michel (Susan), Carole (Darrell), and Robert (Tammy). Loving grandfather of Stefanie (Tyler), Marc, Erika, Andrew (Andrea), Tim (Amanda) and Debbie (Rick). Great grandfather to several. Son of the late Ovila and Irène (née Desquanne). Dear brother of Jeannette Coulis (late Gerry), André (Rolande), Estelle Elchyson (Ed, late Ted), and Normand (late Alex). Predeceased by his sister Therese, Simone Walsh (late Frank), Sylvio (late Albertine), and Larry (Jeannine, late Edna). He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Edgar enjoyed his life as a miner with Falconbridge and a volunteer fire fighter with the City of Sudbury. Edgar will be remembered by friends at St. Dominique Church, Club Amical, and his former cottage at Fairbanks lake. A special thank you to Sylvie and all the staff at St. Joseph Villa of Sudbury. A private church service will be held by invitation only. Memorial donations to St. Joseph Villa of Sudbury or Paroisse Saint-Dominique would be appreciated.
