The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Val Caron, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Daughter of Gabrielle (née Lajambe) and the late Maurice Proulx. Beloved wife of Gérard Prévost. Loving mother of Jean-Paul (Fauza) and Carole (Simon). Dear sister of Suzanne McKerral (Robert), Carole McKerral (Michel), Pierrette Annett (Jim), Paul Proulx (Monique) and Ronald Proulx (Michelle). Predeceased by her brother Robert Proulx (Pauline). Cherished grandmother of Léonard, Lilianne and Nadia. Sister-in-law of Claire Higgins (Donald), Françoise Turner (Jean-Guy), Hélène Prévost (Richard), Daniel Prévost (Danielle) and Michel Prévost (Stephanie). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Denise was a longtime teacher for the Sudbury Catholic School Board in Hanmer. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre, Home Area 4, for the great care they provided for Denise. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
