The family announces with great sorrow the sudden passing of Denis at the age of 57, on February 4th, 2022. Beloved spouse of Marielle Veilleux (née Comtois) of Hanmer. Loving father of Chantal Soulière (Larry) of Timmins and Serge Veilleux of Hanmer. Dear grandfather of Loïc and Éllie Soulière. Adored son of Béatrice Veilleux (née Lefebvre) and of the late Florian Veilleux. Dear brother of Gilbert Veilleux (Louise) and Monique Prévost (Yvon) both of St-Charles, Marc Veilleux (Lyne) of Manitoulin, Réjean Veilleux (Louise), Nicole Dupras (Michel) and François Veilleux (Stéphanie) all of Sudbury. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and special lifelong friend Richard Rainville. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the first responders, Bernie Soulière and Constable Daniel Lafontaine. Denis was an avid Habs fan who enjoyed spending time on the lake making memories with his family and friends. Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitations. The family will reunite for a celebration of life at a later date.
