CHARBONNEAU, Denis Richard “Sharby”
The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Friday, October 25th, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Cherished husband of Estelle Charbonneau (née Blais). Son of the late Réné and the late Marie (née Proulx) Charbonneau. Loving father of Julie-Colette Wright (Steven), Marc Brouillette (Carolynn) and Michel Brouillette (Melissa Behm). Special papa of Justin, Keith, Jessica, Kyle and Tyler. Dear brother of Ronald Charbonneau (Colette). Predeceased by his siblings Roméo Charbonneau, Lucille Hirvela (Jack) and Carmen Charbonneau. Denis will also be missed by his nieces Johane (Rick) and Roxane, by his nephew Wayne (Ellen) and by his god daughter Natalie. Denis spent 33 years with National Grocers and RWDSU in Sudbury until he retired in 2005. He will be sadly missed by his golfing buddies: brother-in-law Denis, Al, Jake, Hector, Homer, and Ron. A very special thank-you to Willie, Tracey and Sidney at the Chelmsford Golf Course. Special thanks to the Health Sciences North oncology and palliative care units. The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Saturday, November 9th, 2019, from 3 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
