Condolence: Dearest Carol, I was so shocked to learn of the loss of your beloved Daniel. The two of you had a really genuinely close relationship something I'm sure you will continuously cherish. It's too difficult to even image what you are going through right now but I know you have many people around who care about and support you. Take care of yourself - you are such a wonderful person.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to Dan's family. I met Dan in 7th grade when I was new to his school (St-Denis). I was a quiet kid and don't remember how it happened but he became one of my best friends. We had a lot of good memories which I will cherish forever. We may have grew apart after high school but he was always my friend. I would run into him randomly and we would catch up. I wish I had messaged him to catch up more recently. Will never forget you big guy!

Of course I met Daniel a number of times, but I got to know him because of a proud father, sharing his son’s joys and success. As you said to me Dennis, the other day, I wish I could have gotten to know Daniel better. Much richness of memories to reflect on in an accomplished life that obviously impacted many. Thinking and praying for your aching hearts.

Thinking again about the words of Jesus Thinking about these words of Jesus Christ this morning -

‘Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls.’
