It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Hyacinthe and late Rosaline (née Kingsley) Richer. Beloved husband and life partner to the late Marie Louise Grenier. Cherished father of Lise Constantineau (late Paul) and Roger (Sharon). Predeceased by his son Gilles. Dear brother to Thérèse Paguluoma deceased (late Henri), Rita Biglow (Ken), Laurette Blais (late Leo), Laurent “Larry” deceased, Jeanne Pelletier deceased (late Jean-Louis), Conrad deceased, Raymond deceased (Agnes). Loving grandfather of Vicki (Don), Stephanie, Justin and great-grandfather of Katrina, Tessica “Jessie”. He was also cherished by Louise’s children; Lise, Marc (Chantal), grandchildren; Julie Régnier (Dany), Mélissa Régnier (Sean) Emilie, David; and great grandchildren Séville, Rose, Henri. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cyrille worked for 35 years at Canada Post. During family gatherings Cyrille loved to play guitar. He also loved to go to the casino and had much luck in his winnings. The family wishes to thank Finlandia Village of the HAPPA wing for their care and compassion given to our father during his brief stay. As per his wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME. Mass in presence of his ashes will be celebrated at Ste-Anne-des-pins Church December 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. A limit of 85 persons are allowed in the church and masks are mandatory. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer’s Society.
