It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Monday, April 12th 2021, at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Eugène Dionne and the late Lilianne Dionne (née Lahaie). Beloved husband of 71 years to the late Lucienne Dionne (née Landry). Loving father of Denis Dionne (Gaëtane), Gracia Bourré (Gérard) and Monique Dionne. Predeceased by his infant daughters Monique Gabrielle and Carole. Cherished grandfather of Lissa, Yvon, Josée and Tina. Great-grandfather to Brigitte, Johnathan, Alexander, Kayla and Brooke. Great-great-grandfather to Dominique, Denis and Drake. Sadly missed by his siblings (Colombe, Lorraine and Marc) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Born in Noëlville, he was raised in Delamere and lived in Alban and Gogama retiring in Hanmer and Sudbury. Connie worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources as Chief ranger and District manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spent the best days of his life at his cottages where he hosted friends and family. At Conrad’s request, there will be no public visitation.
