It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of (Marie Cécile) Claudette Larouche (née Lavoie) at Health Sciences North on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by beloved husband Victor, and siblings Denis, René, Charlotte and Michel. Loving Mother of 8 children, Daniel (Tanya), Monique (Marcel), Luc (Deanna), Dominique, Marc, Pierre, Stéphane and Annik (Wayne). Daughter of the late Florence Labonté and late Sylvio Lavoie. Claudette leaves behind her sister Nicole, brothers Jacques and Richard (Célyn), grandchildren Yannik (Sandro), Pascal (Bashira), Tyler, Bailey, Eric, Nicholas, Mathieu (Mélina), Patrick (Laurie-Raphaëlle), Aidan, Abygaëlle and great-grandchildren Adam and Tahir. Claudette’s heart was filled with love for her entire family including Derek, Helena, Angela and Kayla. She enjoyed playing golf, Scrabble, Yahtzee, cards, cooking and baking and watching curling and The Young and the Restless. The family would like to extend a sincere ‘thank you’ to Doctors Bignucolo, Eaton, Faulk, Boudreau, and the 6th floor South Tower nurses and PSW at Health Sciences North for your incredible compassion, care and understanding. Per Claudette’s wishes, family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 starting from 5:30 p.m. A chapel service will follow at 6 p.m. The internment will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online in Claudette’s memory to the Canadian Liver Foundation or to Autism Ontario.

Prédécédée par son époux bien-aimé Victor, et ses frères et sœurs Denis, René, Charlotte et Michel. Mère dévouée de 8 enfants, Daniel (Tanya), Monique (Marcel), Luc (Deanna), Dominique, Marc, Pierre, Stéphane et Annik (Wayne). Fille de feue Florence Labonté et feu Sylvio Lavoie. Claudette laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Nicole, ses frères Jacques et Richard (Célyn), ses petits-enfants Yannik (Sandro), Pascal (Bashira), Tyler, Bailey, Eric, Nicholas, Mathieu (Mélina), Patrick (Laurie-Raphaëlle), Aidan, Abygaëlle et arrière-petits enfants Adam et Tahir. Le cœur de Claudette était rempli d’amour pour sa famille entière incluant Derek, Helena, Angela et Kayla. Elle aimait jouer au golf, au Scrabble, au Yahtzee, aux cartes, cuisiner et regarder le curling ainsi que The Young and the Restless. La famille aimerait remercier sincèrement les médecins Bignucolo, Eaton, Faulk, Boudreau, ainsi que les infirmiers/ères et les PSSP du 6e étage de la tour sud de l’Horizon Santé-Nord pour vos soins, votre compassion et compréhension. Selon les souhaits de Claudette, la famille recevra parenté et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, Sudbury, 222 boul. Lasalle, le mercredi 8 mars 2023 dès 17h 30. Un service religieux suivra à 18h à la chapelle. L’enterrement aura lieu au printemps.
