Obituary for Claire Fulin (Boivin)

Claire Fulin (Boivin)
FULIN, Claire (née Boivin)

It is with great sadness that the family announces Claire's passing at the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Daughter of Simone (née Desloges) Boivin and the late Léo (Hélène). Predeceased by her husband Don Fulin (1982) and survived by her lifelong partner Luciano "Lou" Parisotto of Chelmsford. Cherished mother of Richard (Pat) of Sudbury and grandmother of Yves Renaud of Chelmsford. Loving stepmother of Janis (Don) and the late Greg (Bonnie). Dear sister of Shirley (Stan), Nancy (Bernard) both of Azilda, Anne (Denis) of Peterborough and Jack "Ed" (Marion) of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by her brother Joe (2002) and her sister Florence (2013). Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Lou’s four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and most of all her furry "Buddy". Claire was an employee of the Province of Ontario (Land Titles and Ministry of Health) and enjoyed volunteering at Inner City Homes for many years. Always a nature lover at heart, Claire loved feeding birds at her feeders, sitting around the campfire with family and friends, or simply enjoying peace and solitude. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Team for the excellent care Claire received both at home and at the Hospice. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R 15, Chelmsford on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Under the COVID-19 directives, we will be limiting the amount of people at the visitation and service. Everyone must wear a mask. Donations (by cheque or online only) to Maison McCulloch Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
