Dear Family. Although Stan & I did not know Cecile & Rene's family as we should have, most of you were adults by he time that we met Rene & Cecile. I am Rose Rice, and I met your parents firstly at the Skead Church ( as I was and still am the organist there ) And had the pleasure of praying and playing with your Mom certainly at the CWA meetings that involved food & drink. Met your Father at the Church And later again Stan met Rene at the Seniors Centre. They were a very friendly and Fun couple. After your dad left us all, your Mom was also lonely, We missed her very much when she went to live with her Son. and then I met her again when I worked the Sudbury elections 4 yrs ago. at the Westmount. ..... Stan & I want to extend our sincere condolences from ourselves and the Seniors in Skead. As you know we have a memorial wall which has a plaque of all of our departed seniors on it. Your dad probably made them in the shop. But now we will also have your Mom's name there. We would like it if at some time (when we can re open the building as to this COVID (closed since March ) and renew our senior schedule. That you would call us & come in to see the memorial Plaques. We would also like to send a card from the Seniors. If you could call me 705-969-2583 and give me an address , the club would surely send their condolences.
