BÉLANGER, Lucienne (née Rivet)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lucienne Bélanger (nee Rivet) on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Elzear and of the late Armeline (nee Bourgeault) Rivet. Beloved wife of the late Gaston Bélanger. Loving mother of Claude (Wendi, predeceased), Fern, Yvon (Colette), Pauline Cayen (Rick), Monique Boudreau (Guy), Andy (Jeannine), Ray (Lucie Cousineau) and Nicole Robichaud (Bernie). Sadly missed by twenty-two grand-children and thirty-three great grand-children. She was predeceased by her six brothers Jean-Paul, Roger, Gérard, Lionel, René and Lucien as well as her four sisters Jeannette, Jeannine, Anita and Irene. A devoted mother and homemaker, Lucienne with Gaston raised their eight children with great love and patience. They spent many happy years at the family cottage on Lake Agnew, where the foundation of their legacy was built. All of the children and many grandchildren have established a cottage, home or trailer on the same lake. Lucienne was at her best when surrounded by her family, always beaming with pride and love for them. She lived her life with grace, paired with wit and a sense of humour you could count on.
