The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Gatineau, Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Wife of the late Ernest Proulx. Daughter of the late Hélène (née Berthelot) and the late Robert Fallu. Beloved mother of Maurice (Danièle) Cabana-Proulx of Gatineau and Louise Proulx (Bryan Dowie) of Calgary. Predeceased by her son Richard. Dear sister of Catherine Kozachanko (Alex) and Murielle Foran (Dave). Predeceased by her siblings Sr Cécile Lemieux, Marie Lacroix (late René), Hervé Lemieux (late Cécile), Hélène Farmer (late Gene), Lucille Bruneau (late Aurel), Rita Bass (late Bernard), Elisabeth Dionne (late Rodolphe) and Pauline Cousineau (late Ervin). Cherished grandmother of Stéphanie, Geneviève (Cédric), Justin (Bailey), Daniel (Sammy) and great-grandmother of Annika, Isla, Henrik and Hudson. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday, August 3, 2020 after 9 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Due to the current pandemic, restrictions on the number of attendees on our premises will be enforced. Masks will be mandatory. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Canada will be appreciated.
