The family announces with sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Friday, February 28th, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Philippe and the late Eva (née Slegher) Essiambre. Beloved wife of the late Oscar DeGarie. Loving mother of the late Diane Jeanveau (Jean-Paul), Suzanne, Denis (Kathy) and Marcel (Christine). Dear sister Yvette, Simone, Aline and Yvonne. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Monday, March 9th, 2020 from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel.
